After quitting their jobs and taking a leap of faith, Mayu Suzuki and her husband opened a traditional Japanese inn in the mountains, a dream they had long cherished. Their small inn, still in its infancy, was struggling to stay afloat, with monthly expenses and payments hanging over them like a tightrope walk. One day, they received a group reservation from out of town, bringing a sigh of relief as they thought, "This will surely help us make ends meet this month." However, when the group arrived, they were a rough-looking bunch exuding a menacing aura, identified as a construction company's outing from another prefecture.
